Launched in the mid-1990s, the World Energy Assessment is a joint project of the United Nations and the World Energy Council, designed to assess energy trends, technologies, and needs from the standpoint of sustainability. Since the Assessment's launch, Suazion has been involved in developing an array of project-related advocacy, communications, and reporting materials.

In the initial project phase, Suazion was commissioned to handle all of the conceptual branding and design work, from the program's identity, stationery, and media kits to advocacy materials and signage for events. At the same time, Suazion's editorial division assisted with copyediting outreach materials, including press releases, brochure, and website. In the second phase of the project, Suazion designed an interactive website that allowed users from all over the world to review, comment on, and upload drafts of various components of the Assessment's summary report. At the end of this process, Suazion designed a 500-page, statistically complex project report entitled World Energy Assessment: Energy and the Challenge of Sustainability. Most recently, Suazion handled design and print production of the World Energy Assessment: 2004 Overview, an update on the Assessment's progress.

After working with Suazion, I knew that
we would not find another consultancy
of the same caliber. The firm produces excellent work,
stays within budget, and is always on time,
even in the instances where we have been late
in providing vital materials.
